To rent one of our vehicles, you must present a valid driver’s license. Additional drivers are welcome; they must also show their licenses and be listed on the rental agreement.
Airport Delivery
If you’d like to pick up your vehicle at the airport, please provide your expected arrival time, airline and flight number in advance. One of our representatives will meet you at customs with a sign bearing your name and hand over the keys.
Payment Terms
Payment is due when you receive the vehicle. We accept cash or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express).

You may eliminate the deductible by purchasing one of our insurance upgrades.
Insurance Options
- Extra Third-Party Insurance (EIT) – Mandatory
Covers third-party judicial bail, property damage, and provides up to $3 million in protection for our clients.
$5 per day.
- MTS Insurance – Optional
$5 per day.
Protects your vehicle wherever it is parked against:
- Theft of vehicle parts
- Windshield and window damage
- Tire damage
Does not cover accidents.
- Customer Protection Plan (CPP) – Optional
Up to $25 per day.
Includes the mandatory Extra Third-Party Insurance (EIT). Provides full coverage even if you cannot provide the full security deposit. The rate depends on the vehicle class and is capped at $25 per day.
Insurance Exclusions
Your comprehensive coverage will be void if the vehicle is used for any of the following:
- Commercial transport, subleasing, or improper use
- Driven by anyone not authorized in the rental agreement
- Under the influence of alcohol or drugs
- Off-road, on beaches, or on unpaved areas
- Carrying more passengers than the vehicle’s rated capacity
- Used for racing, towing, pushing other vehicles, or driving instruction
Please note: Vehicles may not leave the territory of the Dominican Republic.
Age and License Requirements
Renters must be at least 21 years old and have held a valid driver’s license for a minimum of one year.
Paso Rápido Service – ASML Car Rental
1. Service Description
All our vehicles are equipped with an active Paso Rápido device, allowing access to exclusive lanes at toll stations throughout the Dominican Republic.
2. Charges and Fees
- Toll Cost: The official toll rate established by RD Vial will be charged according to the toll station and vehicle category.
- Management Fee: A fixed administrative fee of RD$100.00 will be applied for each toll crossing.
3. Payment Method
The total amount accumulated for tolls and management fees will be calculated at the end of the rental period and deducted directly from the customer's security deposit.
4. Transparency
The customer may request the digital toll history generated by the official Paso Rápido platform to verify all toll crossings and charges.
5. Lane Usage
It is the driver's responsibility to use only the lanes designated for Paso Rápido and to reduce speed to ensure proper sensor reading.
